Results of the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Public Administration.
On May 17, 2016 the Directors of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Offices in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania made the decision on the applications submitted in 2016.
The Management Body of the programme received 83 applications by the deadline of the programme 30.03.2016. The number of the applications submitted has increased comparing to the last year (73 applications). 68 applications received a positive answer whereas 15 applications were rejected. Latvia submitted 19 applications, out of which 17 were accepted.
A total number of 382 public sector employees are going to participate in the networking and knowledge sharing activities during 2016/2017 with the support of the mobility programme. The total amount applied for was 524 451, 33 EUR, however, the total amount granted in 2016 was 341 289 EUR. The biggest grant allocated to a project is 8,000 EUR and the smallest is 810 EUR.
