ERASMUS PLUS and NORDPLUS
In 2016 and in 2017, in cooperation with Poland and Finland, the Latvian School of Publc Administration prepared and submitted for approval projects in the framework of the NORDPLUS and ERASMUS PLUS programs. The main objectives of these projects are: the development of a training course and training materials for the training of the trainers in public administration, the mobility for teachers (studiyng abroad), and the development of cooperation in the field of innovation and the exchange of experiences among teachers.
The application for the project under the NORDPLUS program was not approved, and the project "Training Educator Training Course" for the ERASMUS PLUS 2016 program got on the reserve list, after what it was subsequently improved.
In July 2017, the project "Training Educator Training Course" within the ERASMUS PLUS 2017 program competition received 83 points out of 100 and was approved by the European Commission and was awarded the funding. The grant amount is 79 998 euros. The project begins in December 2017 and will last 22 months - until September 2019. The partners of the Public School of Administration within the framework of the project are HAUS - Finnish Institute of Public Management and the Polish National School of Public Administration - KSAP.
